So, what is the turn around time? Just checking to determine whether a 'support team' needs to be sent in to keep an eye on you as the hands on the clock slow to a snail's pace.

Just had a talk with JoJo, She says, per federal mandate, She has the right-no- obligation to refuse the H word! And, 'transgender' is a label not to be thrown around carelessly!
Don't know what to say! I will need to respect her wishes! Wait, Her,, H word? Now I am confused!
Great turnaround with testing. Vet nail clip Wednesday,($9), blood sample in the mail same day.($19.50) They notified me Friday, results pending. Devastated us Monday with the results.

So you were right and wrong at the same time. What about him made you think boy? Does your bird dance to music ? Did he ever hump? I think there are differences between the sex of conures but us humans can't see them and they are not in your face differences.

It seems like when I've seen GCC's many times the ones with a wider head and slightly larger frame comparatively to others are males, but of course that doesn't hold true with all individuals.

Haha, I was afraid that was going to happen! Congratulations, it's a boy! You will adjust in no time, David, for JoJo nothing has changed. I love the name, JoJo, cute character in, "Horton Hears A Who".

That happened to me with my blue crown Rosco, who came to me as "Rosa". I had him about 2 months before I had the test done. Plenty of time to get used to him being a "her". I had my suspicions based upon his actions with Tootsie, my female blue crown. Feeding her. Defending her from me. But it was still a bit of a surprise. Once I knew, "Rosa" as a name had to go. It took me a couple of weeks before I got used to it. And it was still a few months before I stopped using the old name once in a while. He would misbehave and I would snap, "Rosa!". Of course, he uses that tone of voice to occasionally say "Rosa!" to me. Though it kind of mutated into Rosco since I end up scolding his misbehaving so often. 
I told the vet "Salty will be a boy until he drops an egg, and then she will be...... Saltee". But congrats on your boy!

My Patagonian was labeled a boy at the rescue, but we did one of the Avian Biotech testing package deals and Lucky's results were disease free....and a lady. Fortunately, she's got a fairly non-gendered name, like JoJo does.
Does JoJo sing more? Our Alex insists that we sing to her.
My poor sweetie is surrounded by females - human girlfriend (me), lady-cat, lady-birds, and a flock of sheep with 10 ewes and 2 rams.
