Dusty: Dusky Conure
So in an earlier post:

http://www.parrotforums.com/conures/4129-dusty-angel-strange-bonding.html

I talked about how Dusty seems to have bonded with my German Shepherd, Angel. I even provided a picture.

Well I just wanted to share this story with everyone.

Dusty's wings are starting to come back in ( I clip them) and so he is able to get around the house a little more. Well, Dusty doesnt like my parents room very much. i dont quite understand why. My parents are really the only people who ever go in there. Well The other day I had to get something from the room for my mom and Dusty was on my shoulder when i walked into the room. A minute or so in the room and Dusty Freaked out. My German Shepherd, Angel, was standing in the hallway. Well Dusty freaked and flew from my shoulder. Well I tried to catch him because I knew one of my cats were in the house and they LOVE to chase him. Dusty flew right to Angel and hung off of her bandana. angel looked at him and then proceeded to walk down the hallway. The cat came out of one of the rooms and Angel growled at him. I have never seem Angel growl at another animal in my house before. The cat went running.

It seems Angel is now defending Dusty.

Today I was sitting on the couch with Dusty and Angel walked by and looked at me for attention.I started petting her and Dusty ran down my arm and onto her back. It seems I have some competition for Dusty's Attention :P

Dusty sure has found an angel in Angel LoL
Amazing how they look out for one another.
Now you have to come up with a plan to please all.....
Love the pic of Dusty on Angel, really cute.

Thank you.

Angel still has a problem of putting her face in Dusty's. Dusty doesnt like it that much... haha poor Angel

Dusty is smart cause most doggie breath is not very nice. Very cute stories. You should write a book about their encounters with photos.

Angel' breath isnt too bad. i brush her teeth at least twice a week. She is prone to having bad tartar so i try to help prevent it.

I have only gotten the picture in my other post od the two of them...By the time i get my camera they no longer together.
