I'm not sure if others have thought about these. But there is a lot of little pouch fruit/vegie/chia/millit mixes that seem to a big hit here. I always keep a few boxes of them in case I run out of fresh foods.

It's a terrific idea to keep those around in case you run out of fresh fruit. I might have to pick up a couple and pop them in the pantry! Thanks!
 
I love those things! Never thought of giving them to the bird! Chia pods are another brand but they need to be refrigerated.
 
Great idea, will have to look out for them over here.
