Hi friends, I’ve just received a distressed call from a woman who is losing her home TODAY in Asheville NC. She has two tame Quakers that are in URGENT NEED of a safe place to go. I’m looking for anyone willing to do emergency foster until I can get to them in a couple of weeks, or better yet, to adopt them. I don’t know the age or color, and they don’t come with a cage because she has had them living cage free. They are not related and she is concerned that they will end up with a breeder. Please, if anyone has contacts in that area who might be willing to take them even temporarily, it would be greatly appreciated! Let’s get these birds safe!

Shoot, I wish I lived closer. Good luck getting these Quakers a home!

Hope somebody in the area can help. Thanks for getting the word out, Dani!

Thanks! We found a place for them :)

Awesome, love a happy ending... at least for the birds. Sad to hear of the disruption from losing a home.
