My CAG, Justice, is absolutely terrified of towels, sheets and blankets. If he even sees any close to his cage he freaks. My Alex, Xander, and my WCP Pisces, are terrified of step up sticks. My BHP, Talli, is terrified of Pisces..lol.
My birdie HATES gloves with the passion or anything you can cover your hand with. You can put your hand in his cage and he will just move away and try to bite (he's cage aggressive) but if you try going in with a glove he will freak & try to fly and all kinds of stuff.....
My conures aren't really scared of anything. I've had my green cheeks fly over to my Amazon to bully him around....luckily he just got a what the heck is that thing look on his face and I got him away before he remembered he was much bigger than them.
My Amazon isn't really scared of anything either. He will step back sometimes when you have a towel but it's more to evaluate the best why to make you bleed rather than being afraid.
My cockatiels are flighty and random strangers in the room makes them fly around in a bit of a panic sometimes.
My cockatoo Folger is afraid of everything....just looking at him makes him twitchy.
My basil is terrified of birds, any and all birds. She jumps in her human's and tried to hide in your shirt or snuggles very close so you can keep her safe.
Sheldon hates large birds and their shadows that fly across. My brother got a steel shooting target... large, painted orange with large black dots on it. Sheldon freaked out. Screeched until we figured it was the target and my brother put it up and Sheldon settled down.
Tootsie hates belts that I'm not wearing. I think she believes that they are snakes and reacts accordingly. I hung one on a closet door knob once and it slipped off after a minute or so and fell where she could see it. Total. Freak. Out.
Sidney on the other hand spooks at air, I think. He will be on my shoulder preening then suddenly squeals and launches for no reason that I can discern. Circles the room squealing all the way round until he lands on his cage looking like he just had a near death experience.
Peabody is afraid of the phone, of people he doesn't know and of new places. Clover doesn't seem to be afraid of anything at all. Willie B so far is afraid of the color blue! I wrapped his main perch in sports tape and he hated the color so much he refused to step on it until I took it off.
