So this is probably the second or third time this has happened. But every night before she goes to bed, I feed my female some coconut water. And she loves it! As soon as I take the bottle out of the fridge, she knows what it is, and gets excited, and starts leaning down on my shoulder like she can't wait to have some. Then she gobbles it up so fast! Today, she gobbled it up, and then regurgitated on my finger, it was like this warm liquid came out. She didn't seem sick at all or anything like that. And then it happened a while back, she had some coconut water as usual, and I brought her to her perch, and she regurgitated on my fingers.

I thought only the males did this as a mating ritual. Could it be true with females too?

My female regurgitates too. She tries to do it on my toes, and also the back of her perches (Those metal screws).
As long as she is regurgitating it up herself and isn't throwing up, it should be fine. Also does the liquid she is bringing up smell bad? If it does, that could be an issue.

Also the fact that its with the coconut water, maybe she just REALLY likes it and either wants to share, or she wants to taste it again? Haha.

It doesn't smell bad, and her mood/state doesn't seem affected by it at all. She seems just as content and happy, and then regurgitates, and still looks content and happy. So does this mean she feels I am her mate?
