thank you all for the support! Somehow missed tge thread updates..
Nothing new:, lots of doctor appointment this week...
I had kidney problems for a few years because I had a weird reaction to migraine preventative medication (topamax; topiramate). It is the only preventative medication that has worked for me but gave me huge kidney stones which I was not even aware of until they got colonized by bacteria and my kidneys got infected.

If by any chance you are using topamax (topiramate) it can cause calcium oxalate (I think thatā€™s the type) kidney stones in some rare people.

Still testing, testing , testing
So long antibiotics have me c. Diff, so ha , now more antibiotics..
Found out there are lots of weird things that can happen to kidneys, like TB of just kidney, plus autoimmune against your kidneys.. more things than I ever knew of.

Awaiting answers. But I've not been in kidney pain for a month now so that's a big relief!!!!!!!

But lordy so many doctors, tests, and complications, and other health issues in circulation waiting till I deal with most serious first. I'm certainly learning when you are down its a big climb out

I think about you (and your loved ones) every day.

working in healthcare during a time of my life when I know a lot of people from different parts of the world has really shown me the ways our healthcare system (in the U.S.) fails anybody with any health issue that is outside the "norm". I LOVE what my job does for people. I also wish things were easier for people who don't yet have answers!

Most of all I want you to have a very very long, painfree, luxurious life!!!

Cotton and Maynard and I are sending our love!

Yeah...one of the meds she wants to start me in is 90 bucks....I don't have 90 bucks a month to spend! So I'm having to hold off till my next appointment to see if its a must have or if there are alternatives

Oh Laura, I've been wondering how you've been getting along, and I hope maybe this means they've been ruling out some of the nastier possibilities for you? Wishing you healing, and sending more prayers and all good vibes and love for you, my friend! šŸ’–

C diff is definitely a wrench in the works. I'm sorry you're dealing with that too!

Iā€™m sorry that you are so sick.

Yes, thereā€™s lots that can go wrong with kidneys. I hardly would know where to begin. And kidney pain is awful. Iā€™m sorry that you have to deal with this and now infection/ overgrowth from being on antibiotics for so long.

Best wishes to you and birdsā€¦Heather, Willow, Jasper

Has blood work done regarding infection late afternoon doc called me before 8 a.m.! Evidently very high WBC and dehydration. She wanted to make sure I'm responding from my first antibiotics and didn't neediness hospital! I let it go too long...really my fault. But I am starting to feel better and getting rehydrated

Thank you so much. I had my mom with me and she said I look like hell...abd we wrr considering another emergency room visit.......its just so expensive....

So the phone call was pure relief! I was also finally given pain medication I can't wait for it to kick in!!!

My specialist has been wonderful and was trying to find answers. They knew something was wrong, but just couldn't figure it out. I still have a lot more tests n stuff.

But please, oh please let this be the answer and cure.

I would love a huge prayer circle from my flock.

Today has been so bad I haven't even let my parrots out of their cages....so that tells you...ugh.. I had reached my limit

This phone call was already an answer to prayer. Now I just want to get better.
An answer, even something you didn't expect or even dread, is better than no answer.

Know you will be fine, no matter what!
