I have spend countless hours trying to find a appliance that can replace my George Foreman grill. Although I have been using it for years with no ill effects to my birds/bird I am still rather paranoid that I am playing Russian Roulette.
I want to find an appliance to use to replace it that will be safe to use with my parrot.
My research started with those new super wave oven things that use hallagon light and convection to cook in a large glass bowl. Ones like the Sharper Image Super Wave Oven or the Big Boss Rapid Wave oven. I am narrowed the research for the best type of these and came up with Oyama Turbo Convection oven being the best for the money.
During this research one problem I kept coming across is how the element being on the lid is problematic and complaints with timers, handles, and the oven not lasting very long before dying.
Then I got to thinking what about just researching about counter top convection ovens? With these being more traditional appliance I got nervous about non stick stuff again.
I would love to hear from other parrot owners what they use to grill/cook their meat in the house? Yes, I could go out and just buy a out door gas/coal grill but I cannot afford them and although other of my neighbors have them I am just afraid someone will steal it.
I appreciate all feed back and information you could share.
