Theres no point being scared of him and not wanting to ride.. It was just an accident that can happen to any horse !

I like the saying- Fear is not real. It is a product of thoughts you create. Now do not misunderstand me, remember, danger is very real. But fear is a choice



Hahahaha heyyy he is not that big I am taller than his back!

It will be interesting to see the 3 boys together today, just to see height and width difference.. Kitai is tiny bit taller, but Kyros is alot wider making him seem bigger, and Klaatu just looks like a baby, even though he is tall :')


Oh Lynn, i think you might have to go for a horse ride soon!! Wendy just started riding again after 20 years!!!!!!!!!!


Have the lunging gear up next to his paddock ready to take over Hopefully will relax him ! Even though you would think the 10 minute walk to the arena would get him warmed up

No flying changes yet, well haven't tried, haven't cantered figure eights, just been doing big and little circles both ways!



Oh my gosh!!!!!! Trish that is insane! 71 horses!! It is incredible how everyone comes together to help in the end hey! Gosh we have 7 horses in a 40 acre paddock and they always start fights with each other!

Hopefully there will be no more fires, they have caused alot of damage, and yes, i would assume lots and lots of fencing of paddocks will be needed!

So glad all the horses were safe

Tab, I am glad to hear you are feeling better and back in the saddle. Please be careful. I know your are not afraid and I can tell you do not dwell on it (lets be honest most people after such a incident would be afraid to ride again or decide to ride a different horse for then on)

Thanks guys... For some silly reason i trust my horses so much, i know they would never hurt me intentionally, but riding is basically my whole life..



KYROS WAS FANTASTIC TODAY!!!!


Lunged him for 5 minutes, he was a bit excited at first, tried to run around of the circle, but then he calmed down and was doing all 3 gaits really well around the circle.. and responded to my voice when i asked him to stop


Then hopped on.. and he was amazing!!!!!!!!

Back to his normal self Yay!!!

Head down... Listening


Worked for 40 minutes.. mainly walking and trotting, lots of bending.. Then tried to canter, did a few circles, but it really hurts my coccyx, so finished up then..


So glad he was better behaved then yesterday

My mum emailed a shampoo company, they do shampoos and stuff for horses and dogs... and she said she used it today on our horse, and she loved the result!


and they said that they were actually looking for a horse to have on all their labels and packaging....

I sent them photos of Klaatu and Kitai as well.. and he replied and said they are stunning, and i must be very proud and he said his daughter saw the pictures and likes the horsies too hahaha

Good for you to get right back on, but please be careful! It's one thing to get right back on when you fall and don't get hurt, but another when you do get hurt!! I enjoyed seeing the pictures if you riding though!

Was incredibly hard cause he just wanted to follow me around everywhere..

Just his body, he looks massive in pictures, he is not overweight i promise haha

The only thing i hate about having black horses, is when they get sunbleached in summer, and get that red tinge.. Grrrrrrrrrrrr -_-
Pictures seem to exaggerate the browness as well! haha

He is just sooooo BEAUTIFUL!!!
Really weird, that when I saw one of his close up, I had a horse scent right in my nose!! I swear his face must have reached out through my screen or something!!! .....Your pictures are jolting my memory and remind me of just how much I LOVE the smell of horses!! Thanks! XOXO
