First time Macaw Mommy

I am a first time bird mommy. We got an approx 11 month old blue and gold macaw. He/She (we’re getting DNA testing this week) is very friendly and loves to show off. He is very comfortable in his cage and will come to us and talk to us, but he still isn’t comfortable outside of his cage. Joining the forums for some new parenting advice

Awww, lovely I'm glad to see you can hold yours, I'm not having much luck with my recent addition. But that is a lovely bird, congrats. Blue and Golds are stunning parrots, so pretty Love that black beak.

Such a pretty Baby. I am not sure about a baby Mac. I adopted mine and he is around 20 years old from what I can figure. I am sure someone will come along to help you.
