Foot through wing scratching??

My Cockatoo has been doing this for a while now, when she goes to scratch her head with her foot, she preens her wing and then sticks her foot through her wing to scratch her head LMAO. It’s messing up her feathers under her wing quite a bit, and she gently bites my finger and extends her neck as far as she can, then lets go, as to throw my finger if I tell her to stop. Does only my parrot do this?

My cockatiel does this, and so do many of the too’s at the rescue that I volunteer at. I think they look like a dog scratching their ear

My Umbrella Cockatoo does this--not usually right through the wing though lol---It is cute and hideous at the same time lol! Especially when she opens her beak while scratching her head with her foot lol
