"Kiwi" My Hahn's Macaw and R.I.P. Buddy the GCC-2009 - 2011
Do you guys get emotional at certain times of the day??? Usually around dusk when the sun is going down, I think about my little Buddy...It always happens to be at sundown...sorry if this post sounds a little weird...R.I.P. Buddy!

When I come home from work. Rio always called out to me as soon as I got home. River, although happy to see us, and get out of his cage, is his own self, and doesn't make that same sound when we get home.

I think about my buddy all the time. I still tear up sometimes. I don't know if that will ever change.

All our beloved lost pets will always hold a place in our hearts, and will always be missed.

I miss my little Piper more than anything, although not a parrot, losing any pet is hard. My little Piper was the best dog ever. She would greet me everyday with her butt turned almost to her head, do a wiggle, and show her pretty teeth at me, smiling she was so happy to see me.

I lost a horse, geez its been at least 7 years now. Her and I were very bonded, and the day she died, even the vet was crying. It is never weird to think about a lost pet. It just means you have a good heart and you miss what you have lost.

whenever i look at an image of a sun conure or speak about Mango is when i'm most emotional, though there were a few occasions before i moved out of my parents before she passed when i would come home i would greet her by yelling her name and get a screech of joy back. It was slightly embarrassing and saddening when i called out to her one day and ran to her cage and didn't see her there...
