She's an investigator, definitely. She's gotten comfortable enough with the house and the dogs and the other bird that now she wants to see everything. Last night she was on her perch stand in the living room, while I read and passed out Halloween candy. Every time the doorbell rang, or someone knocked, she was facing the door and wanting to see who was there - no fear at all.
She's started working out how to steer me, when I'm holding her. She just leans the direction she wants me to go, and grabs my thumb with her beak if I'm not following directions. From this I know she wants to look out the windows when we hit the top of the stairs. Maybe she likes the view? I know she wants to check out the backyard (once the winds die down, and there's not so much smoke in the air I'll allow it, but not until), and I know she wants to see what's beyond every doorway, behind every door, and in every closet.
