Foraging

Huh, weird, when I dont shove fruit/veg kebab after fruit/veg kebab into my parrots face all day, he actually goes off into the corners of his cage and plays with the foraging toys full of treats ive made for him that he normally ignores .. who would have guessed!?

Sounds like he likes his foraging treats with fruits & veggies.....heck, I like salt on my melons.....

Salt on melon is apparently quite a thing in many places, I havnt tried it yet, maybe I will this summer? We'll sure be buying more melons then usual this year, my Alex loves them!

I cant believe its taken me 3 months to realise that maybe im over feeding him when it comes to fresh fruit/veg lol, apparently he only goes after his pellets and foraging toys if I leave the cage fruit-less for a few hours lol.
