Soo I went into my brothers room and saw this..

It's a painted reed frog. Not sure how the little dude got here considering the room is on the second floor? he's pretty chill though so I guess he can stay. I'm just so confused lmao

I'm still deciding. Apparently they come inside to escape certain weather conditions

Update: I'm keeping it. It's perfectly legal to have them as pets. Since they're invasive(despite being indigenous), there's no laws protecting them.
I'll do all the research I need to do in order to give it a decent quality of life

I had a frog when I was four, let's just say I hugged it so hard I knocked the breath out of it forever, but don't let them get hugged by four year olds ok? but that sounds so fun!

I think some pet stores sell reed frogs, apparently they're quite easy to care for. They're very small though and can easily get injured
