I DO see some yellow feathers on your baby girl's face, but don't know if that's enough to label her as a Yellow Face.

Truthfully I don't like to look at pics of Quakers because they break my heart, but I had to see. She's beautiful

I love this, we seem to be on the same page for names....I was looking at that sight too!

everybody is coming up with some really good names...idk

ok, I think we came up with a name, after two days of searching....

gee, I don't take this very seriously do I??, ha ha

I saw the name "Bonsai", and thought "hmmmm that's pretty good", it seems to suit her.

now I can get on with other things, lol.

ok, now we changed it again to....YOSHI!....I like that better, it's suits her to a tee.

I just came across it on a list, and thought, yup this is it for sure!

Yoshi! What a super cute name for the little, green, sweet missy.

I'm VERY sore still. Today the shoulder hurts more than the hip for some reason. As long as I don't lift my upper arm I'm fine though. Except for when I have to walk....I resemble a duck at the moment with that gait of mine. :54:

First let me congratulate you on your new Quaker - they are illegal here in Pennsylvania although my sister did have one. I think you did the right thing with Willow also, so it sounds all in all like a great solution.

I know you said you probably have picked a name but i'd like to throw a couple more at you.

Names for a female green quaker !

Fern, Emma (for 'emerald' lol) or Erma or Irma, Clover, Peridot, Honeydew, Kiwi, Parsley, Okra, Celery or a variation of 'celery' like Celly, Cellie, etc., Sweetpea, Apple, Pepper, Peppa, Pippa, Mossy, Aria - ok that's all I can think of atm lol

oh yeah! when I get a good pic, I'll send it off.

yoshi is doing really well, loves her polly perch swing, it's her favourite toy.
I covered the chains up with blocks, she's loves chewing and playing with them
she's a funny character


she's eating and is settling in nicely....she likes Dave he keeps talking to her

she already has the mindset that we are not going to hurt her, given she sits still while we open the cage door to feed her.
