My husband and I do some fostering for our breeder friend, and we were taking care of a green quaker that we named scotty. She was certain that Scotty was a male. We had scotty for a couple months maybe less, our job was to teach manners, step up and coming out of the cage nicely when asked. Scotty had a thing for acustics. He loved to scream into the feeding dish just to hear the noise. When we gave him back, she gave him his own personal coffee cup and it was his favorite thing to do...jump onto the cup scream into it with his head as far inside as possible without falling in, jumping down pacing back and forth and repeat, lol. Shortly after she found an egg in the cup so now scotty is off the market and will be given a mate. Still love that little bird.
