Gail, you are fantastic!!!!

I am so thrilled at what came in the mail today!
Our own sweet Gail painted the most magnificent painting of my babies. When we first started talking about it, I knew exactly who I wanted, and Gail jumped right in even though I picked my plucker, Phoe. He is always hanging out with his friend Jax, so she kindly included him in it as well.
She completely captured the essence of who they are, and showed that even a bald baby can be as beautiful as a fully feathered one. This literally took my breath away!

Gail, you have an incredible talent, and I cried so many tears of joy over this beautiful tribute to my little loves. It is already one of my most prized possessions, and I can feel the love you put into your work every time I look at it.
Thank you so much, you are the BEST!!!

Thanks, Kiwi... I get that effect from multi-media. Pastels to provide subtle shading on paper, then digital photo drawing software for super-sharp outlines (fine feather lines, for example), then print out, mount on canvas, and finish off with bright acrylic color. Then finish eyes with a twinkle-spot and clear nail-polish over the top! Same general process for animals and people.
