So awesome I think I will be asking my vet about getting a chip for Timneh since she doesn’t have a band or anything.

The chip will be what saved his life. NZ has strict and harsh, but fair, biodiversity laws. I think Aussie's are pretty stringent is well. Being able to access his vet records would have made all of the difference in this case...not that a parrot generally makes it halfway to another country before being found!

Knowing parrots, it probably wanted to get at the all you can eat buffets cruise ships have lol
