have 4 finches, turquoise irn, 2 torquise gcc, 2 crimsons bellied conures, 2 lovebirds, a parrotlet
Hi I am wondering my torquise gcc has laid three eggs so far and looks like she could lay another. Anyway my question is there something I should be feeding her and when they hatch is there anything I should be providing her.
New to the baby thing but really excited about the eggs.

Does she have a mate? They will only hatch if she has a mate. You need to put a cuttlebone in the cage at all times, feed leafy greens, eggs. And if she does have a mate and they are fertile then feed nesting food, egg food and possibly mineral food. Feed lots of fresh food and veggies and make sure she has clean water at all times.
That's just off the top of my head, I will let you know if I think of anything else.

Cdog gave you some great info, I assume since it says you have 3 gcc's that the eggs are possibly fertile? when the eggs are about a week old you can candle them to confirm fertility. Do you know how to handfeed or are you planning on letting the parents raise the chicks? If you are hand rearing them you want to start getting ready for the babies, set up a brooder, make sure you have formula, syringes, a scale and plenty of weaning foods on hand.

Yes there is a mate with her and and friend is going to handfeed them for me. I am going to learn so I can do some myself, but this is my first batch of eggs so I am getting help. Got to love friends that know how to do it or I would never have taken on this. It is going to be a long 22-24 days. The anticipation is going to kill me
