GCC Food and Such

Hi all.

My husband and I are new to the Conure Community, and could use some tips and pointers on what a good diet would consist of.
I have had parakeets and other birds in the past, but this is my 1st GCC
I have read lord only knows how much online, but it really comes down to asking those with experience, which is why we are here.
We will be getting our new little family member this weekend. He is a 3 month old Cinnamon, and the breeder has handled him since he was old enough to be handled.
She told us that she had hand fed him, as well as all of her other birds, and some of what he eats, as well as toys he likes.
Not so much on food though.
So, please-- any advice is welcome. Thank you

Scroll down to the Parrot food/recipe section you get tons of info. Myself, I give mine a varied miix of quality pellets, seed mix, fresh fruits/veggies/meats/fish/eggs... keep junk food to a minimum and NO salty stuff no matter how much they beg. I know some folk feed only pelleted diet but no matter how healthy it might be, it would bore me to death eating the sammmmmmmmmmme thing day after day. I change up the fresh foods to keep things interesting for my youngins.
