Getting a second conure

I have a 12 year old peach fronted conure and I've been thinking of adopting a second conure. Just wondering what peoples experiences are with this. I don't want to stress out my bird too much and I don't know how she would do with another bird after being the only bird in the household for so long.

I often think about this, but Clark is my buddy, my pal, I don't think he would even take to another bird, at least not very quickly. Besides my hands are already full with him on me all the time.

Lots of members have multiple bird households. It's like an only child getting a new sibling.... they may not like it, but they'll have to learn to accept it. Of course you'll want to keep them in separate cages and always supervise play time.
