Gilbert is officially my Birthday Present!

We celebrated the October birthdays on Sunday and my parents gave me the money for Gilbert as my gift. What a wonderful, long-lasting gift he is!
He had the opportunity to socialize with my family at dinner and he enjoyed all the attention and very calmly stepped up for a few different people. He is totally 'out of his shell' now!! He is so full of personality and even trying to see what he can get away with already. Very smart, these birdies are.
This is him ON my plate. He nibbled at my cavatelli and broccoli....and loved the cavatelli!
