Nope. Just addicted to them in this life.
Big goofy playful lap birds IF their attention needs are met, and if they are properly bite pressure trained and disciplined.
The biggest thing about ANY big mac, even the big red goofballs is BOUNDARY SETTING. Set the boundaries, and you get a well behaved, good bird who doesn't bite, and steps up... IF YOU DON'T SET THE BOUNDARIES WITH THE BIRD, YOUR BIRD WILL SET BOUNDARIES WITH YOU... Putting the MAC in charge of you, or your house is a recipe for disaster. So you need to be the one in charge.
Macs are one of the most interactive of the bunch, and greenwings are one of the more interactive of the macs. They can and will be velcro birds if you let them.
MACAWS ARE PAIR BOND BIRDS. They can have OVERBONDING ISSUES... They need to be properly socialized around strangers so they at least step up and don't bite. OTHERWISE, if you are the only one who handles the bird YOU MAY BE THE ONLY ONE WHO EVER CAN HANDLE THE BIRD. So THAT ONE is very, very important.
THEY LIKE TO PLAY. ANYONE WHO PLAYS WITH A GREENWING, WILL BE A PLAYMATE (OR A TOY.) THEY LIKE HAVING PLAYMATES...
