I can pet her!!! My pain in the butt Nanday Conure that only wanted to land on my shoulder is now my best cuddle buddy!!! After her bath today I laid my hand on my shoulder beside her feet and she stuck her beak under my finger! I petted her gently for a while and then she put her head down and turned it to the side, offering it to me. So I lightly petted her jawline. I cant believe it! I am so happy I've been crying for the last 20 minutes!!! I'm so excited and happy I want to buy her a happy meal lmao! Just kidding! But seriously this is amazing news and I am so thrilled about it. There were times thoughout this bird-human relationship I wanted to give up but I'm so glad I didnt! Congrats to me!!!

I cant believe it! She is letting me pet her head and rub her neck under her beak. She's even giving me kisses! I'm so happy I cant hardly stand myself lol. I was getting a little discouraged because all she wanted to do was bite people. I got excited when she first landed on me. Then discouraged again because she wouldnt let me pet her. I'm so glad I didnt just give up and assume I couldnt do it. I did it, I took a bird who hadnt been handled or loved and turned her into an affection attention seeking baby. I'm a first time bird owner and I did it! Kudos to me kudos to me lol. Sorry I'm just really excited.
