Curious. How did your birds handle the fire works? Nameliss stayed awake. She peaked through a crack in her cover watching like she would a lightning thunderstorm. No panic. So she over slept an hour. I was the one who panicked this morning when my brain realized the quiet.

No squeaks or squawks from Juliette, although I know about that "too quiet" in the morning anxiety. I'm always glad to hear little noises when she's under her cover. She is such a noisy preener.

Happy 4th. Nico has fallen of his perch 4-5 times since Thursday night. Fireworks startle him, and my German shepherd who try’s to crawl on top of me. Everyone else in my house was unbothered.
