Harley Flies!

Harley took his first maiden voyage yesterday, albeit it wasn't such a pretty landing. Maalik had taken flight over Harley, which spooked him into flying across the room and into the kitchen window. Ouch! Think it stunned Harley as much as it did us. Poor little guy's legs were trembling when I picked him up. Fortunately a few sunflower seeds made everything feel all better again!

It's so much fun having birds that fly. Glad we made the decision to let their flight feathers grow in.

Sorry to hear the landing wasn't too smooth, but I'm sure he'll get that part down in no time at all.

Nope. Not yet. But then again I haven't taken everyone out of their cages yet this morning. Working on my morning coffee first!
