Hashtag fun!

As you know (some of you anyway) I run PetoftheDay.com and so have a Twitter account and Tweet each day's Dog, Cat and Pet of the Day several times each day, to celebrate that day's honoree.

Now, Dogs have #MuttMonday and #TerrierTuesday and #WoofWednesday etc., and Cats have #Caturday and lesser tags like #MeowMonday #TabbyTuesday and #WhiskersWednesday ...

For birds, do you like #BirdsdayThursday or FridayFlyday or #FeatherFriday - or do you have bird-related hashtags you follow?

You run PetofTheDay?! When I was in elementary schools YEARSssss ago my class would visit that site everyday just to see what the pet was!

Aww, that's great! Yes, my husband and I started it September 1, 1997. Amazing it has been so long. I was widowed unexpectedly 3 years ago, so now ruin it by myself, but feel like he is still with me in spirit.

You should nominate one of your birds! Think of today's schoolchildren's delight! And of course adults everywhere!

I Love your web page and will continue to follow it and nominate my bird! It was definitely a small, yet unforgettable highlight of the mornings in elementary. Also, I like #FeatheredFriday; or possibly #TweetyTuesday! Haha.
