Haunting and sad

There has been an aweful fire raging in Cape Town over the past couple of days. Then this picture had me in tears.



We also have The World of Birds in that area, but have had no news as to if the parrots are OK yet. [emoji22]

The photo is indeed very sad, and had me in tears, too, when I saw it first. However, it's not from Cape Town, but Pennsylvania.

Photo of man holding dead dog is very touching, isn't from Cape Town | 6000 miles from civilisation...

Thanks for the correction Wendy. Lol, I had to smile at the 6000 miles from civilisation bit. (The site name) Although it feels like it some days, I hope that at least some of us here has reached a certain level of civilisation by now. Hehehehe.
