Every small thing that ever happens I can't eat i can't move i shake violently and curl into a ball

Ever since past loss I can't help it

My caique now has watery stool sometimes during the day

The morning one is normal

He acts normal wr have a vet appointment

I can only ever think of the worst like I'm gonna lose him too

How do u stay calm

Anyone else have this happen to them

The watery stool but normal morning poops

Someone please I'm sorry I just I'm having a tough time

My African Grey
Bella has poop that goes from complete normal mix of solid and liquid to very watery.
So far as I know she is perfectly healthy.

She tends to eat only twice a day morning and evening. She is out of her cage for about 6 hours a day and only rarely goes back to her cage to eat or drink.

I reason her variable poop is due to her unusual eating habits.

My baby only eats veggie zupreme

We took him off fruit a while ago cause it made him very upset

Does pellet make watery stuff

We moved the food from the outside away cause he's spilling it he mainly eats breakfast time and dinner but not when out. Idk if that helps thanks for your reply it's help me feel grounded

I'm sorry you're going through this, @PeentPeent, I think it's only natural to be worried when we love them so much and they can't tell us when something is wrong. You have done the right thing in contacting your vet, if something is seriously wrong you'll have nipped it in the bud and if he's ok then it will be good for your peace of mind. I think all of us have been there at some stage or another, I'm thinking of you and your baby and I hope all will be well!! 🙏 🙏 🙏

From my experience no, pellets don’t create watery poop but do change the color of the poop.

I had been given my flock Zupreem nut blend but it’s been discontinued. I have switched to Zupreem natural as the closest equivalent.
Difficult to know if they are eating it, I hope so.

Extremely normal poop this morning

Taking the water bottle away that he drinks and plays with and just leaving the water bowl

I'm suspecting the bottle he plays with to give him a lot more intake

I hope your panic subsides. It's an awful feeling that something terrible is going to happen and not knowing what it is and having no control over it. Your bird is going to be fine. It's you I worry about.

Now that you've determined that your bird has a "drinking problem" tha'ts causing him to excrete a lot of water, I wouldn't take the bottle away from him. I don't think any bird has ever drank themselves sick.

Sorry to hear about your problem and worry. It's not uncommon for birdie poop to change during the day. Fluid intake is a part of it. Diet, activity effect it too. Excitement and emotions can stimulate output. My CAG has normal morning becoming watery depending on chop intake and it's ingredients. It firms up towards evening. If she's having an especially active day it's watery too. She also has a water bottle. It's used as her shower, entertainment as well as for drinking. I don't know how much she drinks. Playing she'll fling it around looking like she may drink some. Your bird seems to considers the water bottle a toy and entertainment. So he may not like it taken away.

Have you noticed any increase in him making "soup" with his pellets in the water bowl? My 'tiels and princess parrot all do it, pellets are pretty dry so they do like to soak them a bit with some water in their beak while eating, hence they tend to drop a lot of pellets in their water dishes. Personally I think they end up drinking more water that way, which is not such a bad thing :)
