He is letting me pet him

Since I need to lift the grey from inside his cage to his perch on top I spend a few minutes talking to him while I am moving him until he lets me know he has had enough. well today he let me sit, hold and pet him for 15 minutes. I am so excited he is coming along faster than I thought he would. He is so sweet. He also is standing higher on his legs and gripping stronger.

I remember the first time Hugo let me touch him - it was amazing, one tends to forget those milestones...Im so chuffed for you, dont worry, some days will be harder. Parrots have moods just like us so dont give up - I have no doubt that you wont . Keep us posted!

I remember when Skye first flew to my head. He is generally pretty wild. Now he will come over to be suringe fed! ( sounds strange but all budgies love the suringe in my house )
