Heated perches? Thoughts? Comments?

I recently bought a snuggle up bird warmer but my conure does not like it. He has had it in his cage for about two weeks. I placed the snuggle up bird warmer by a flat perch (he always sleeps on it) and that night he slept on a perch across his cage. I have considered getting a warming perch by the same company. Hoping it is less intimidating for him. Should I give it more time? Has anyone bought warming perches? Thoughts, opinions are welcomed!

I'm sure if its the same company its well made, i have the Snuggle Up. I just wonder if there is some sort of heat gradient in the perch. With the plate type heater, the bird can just move away if he is hot. What happens with a perch?

I know someone who has had both a perch and a snuggle up. The snuggle up is safer overall, as heated perches can cause burns and overheating.

Good luck! :)
