Hello and help please

Hello all wondering if any body can help I rescued this parakeet? From the jaws of a local cat took him to the vets who gave him/her a clean bill of health would any body be able to give me any details as to what it is ect...
He/she is perking up and will have a good home with us have put notices in the local area stating found the bird but no look yet over 2 weeks ago

Is that a parrotlet? Did they prescribe antibiotics?

Parrotlet could be,
should it have long tail feathers? or they were lost with the cat fight
Very perky now chirping quite often
Are they hard to keep don't know much about them

Parrotlets have short tail feathers. They're rather easy to keep. What are you feeding him/her?

one thing I learned here is that they need veggies

Carrots
Broccoli
Cauliflower
Spinach
Green beans
Etc

Raw or cooked. No salt.

Also pellets are preferred over seed.

I find small birds do better on seed mix along with pellets then just pellets alone. Of course give veggies and fruits as well.

definitely a parrotlet!! and a very pretty one at that! please do plenty research f you are planning on keeping him as they can be a little more high maintenance than a budgie(
