Hello! Been Awhile! (And Jasper Does Puzzle in 60 Seconds)

Hey all! Oh my gosh it has been a minute since I've been here, shameful I know. Jasper is doing well, he'll be 7 in a couple of months and being a big booger as always He's had a terrible molt that seems to have lasted forever, since August. He was nearly naked down the whole back of his head/around his neck, finally filling in poor guy.


I also wanted to share a little update that I'm so proud of. Back when he was 2 years old I taught him to do his twelve-shape puzzle and now he can do it in 60 seconds! (In the order I taught him) I wanted to share it

I have another video ready to upload soon where he does it randomly as well, it takes him about 2 minutes. He just loves doing it. When he finishes, he walks around and wiggles each piece to make sure it's in there perfectly.

Thanks so much! Haha yeah, he just loves presents it is really sweet. I always have to keep him in the cage and wrap them out of sight because he knows exactly what is going on

Amazing! So impressive. I always had smaller birds, so just learning and finding out what bigger parrots can do.

Likely source of such toys are found in the baby /kid section of the big box stores and like stores.

Jasper will do all of that for a single bit of nut! Wow!

Thank you! Great to see you too I found it in the Dollar Store actually, I remember thinking "this will be IMPOSSIBLE for him" and grabbed it haha. I wish I had picked up 2 back then, I've never seen them again. You can see in the video he's found where the shapes fit in other spots too (and of course many of them fit in different spots haha)

Jasper will do all of that for a single bit of nut! Wow!

Oh yeah, he LOVES doing it. He'd probably do it without a reward too. We do it about 3 times each session and at the final one he gets a full almond, so I do little rewards before the big one. Keeps him motivated too haha
