Hi my name is Claire and i have just become the new parent of an 11 week old yellow indian ringneck i have named Ollie, we got Ollie from a pet store but he has a scabby beak just wondering if this is normal or is there anything i can do to make it look nice and unmarked.

When getting a new bird it is important for a vet to do tests, and check the bird out thoroughly. Many a bird bought from a pet shop is carrying a disease, without anyone even knowing it.
Browse around the forum, many threads pertaining to beaks.......

Welcome to the forum! I also highly recommend getting Ollie to an avian vet right away. There are many diseases and nutritional deficiencies that can cause issues with the beak. I wish you both the best!
