Parrots
I have one Umbrella, a Bare Eye, and two budgies.
I just wanted to say thank you for allowing me to become part of this incredible site. I am very new to parrot parenting and to start things off I got one of the most difficult parrots there are, ...the demanding U2. He's actually very good natured and continues to amaze me everyday. I also am the proud friend of a bare eye cockatoo. He's a little bit more suspicious of me and doesn't trust me completely, and my cats even less. I am the third owner of both birds. Frankly, having always been a mammal person, I don't know what I am doing, but am eager to learn.

Welcome!

I like your attitude...

You've come to the right place!

OOOOOOOOH, watch those kitty-cats... the slightest claw-prick is almost always deadly due to septic infection...

I'm glad you rescued these birds. Now they're ALL YOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How awesome is that??? Yay!

Welcome! There’s piles of great information here to read and questions are always welcome. Hope you’ll share some pictures of your flock :)

Welcome to you and your menagerie!

Kudos for adopting the U2 and Bare Eye. Three homes is not unusual for a cockatoo, hopefully they are now at their forever home!

Feel free to post specific questions either here or in an appropriate forum. You're not alone!!

Thank you very much, for the warm welcome and information. One kitty cat is very young (only 8 months) and seems a little too interested in my bare eye, because he flies. My Umbrella, Fred, always hoofs it to anywhere he has to get to. I always keep an eye on my young feline friend.

Thank you, Scott. I hope to do right by both of them.

Thank you, and also a nice group of people, I might add.

Thank you! You have all made me feel very welcomed.

Thank you, Kentuckienne. What a cool name.

Thank you so much for the welcome and the invaluable link.

Thank you! Well...actually more like a dove, but we'll keep that our little secret. :)

I hope I am replying correctly. It looks back to back. LOL! Thank you for welcoming me.
