Hello guys, I'm new on the forum so just wanna greet you all :). I'm 17 years old and I've recently got the Rosella, not sure the exact species tho, it has yellow-red feathers on the chest while the feather on wings are like green-black-yellow and white cheeks(those are cute) ☺. Currently trying to get some connection with it, goes a bit slowish, but we'll see. :D

Hello and welcome! It sounds like you may have an Eastern Rosella:) Do you have any pictures you could share?
Here is a pic of one:

Well i'll take a picture of him like in an hour or so since he's sleeping now and don't wanna wake him up with turning the lights on nor the flash from the camera :) but i suppose that it is an Eastern one :)

Hello and welcome to the forums! Congrats, rosellas are real beauties! Looking forward to hearing more about your newly adopted friend. Have you named him or her?

Thankss, well we live in Serbia :), gotta update my profile info :D

Hi Alex, Welcome.
Rosellas are beautiful birds. I also have an Eastern Rosella named Rainbow. A little harder to tame than some other species, but keep at it.

Welcome and be welcomed, Alex and Koki. This truly is a world wide board! After you get settled in here, why not start a thread about Koki's story... how you get him, your relationship with him..

Welcome to the forums, thanks for joining! Congratulations on befriending your Rosella.

Thanks guys, well I've got him like 7 days ago, so right now i'm trying to get him trust me so we can have good life together, at first he was scared so much that he would start running wild in cage when someone is near, but yesterday he ate from my hand while it was in cage, but still if any of my finger comes closer he just changes his beak target from meal to finger :D
