I am glad I found this forum! My name is Morgan and I live in Charleston, SC. I am getting my second Sun Conure. I had a beautiful female Sun Conure in 2022-2023, but due to my husband constantly complaining about her flock call, it caused a lot of stress and he had me rehome her. It was very sad, but thankfully she ended up with a very sweet lady that had recently lost her Sun Conure (not her cause) and she and my girl were made a happy pair. The good news is, I have recently rehomed my husband (as in divorced)! I look back and think maybe he was the one I should have rehomed in the first place. LOL. (It's OK to make jokes, we had an amicable split.) That being said, I have had the urge to get another feathered friend because I miss having one. So Rainbow will arrive to me on 9/9. I finalized it today and I am so excited...and I've made ALL the purchases LOL so that we will be ready for her. Looking forward to getting tips and advice from y'all.

I rehomed one of those more trouble than they're worth husbands and my new one is much better. If you ever adopt a new one make sure he's hard of hearing with your new baby Sunnie in the house!

I adore my sunny. I’m sure when you get yours you’ll be filled with fun & excitement. I just know @wrench13 knows how sun conures are little angels

My sunny has some odd coloration. He’s grown quite a few of whitish flight feathers.
