I am not really new but I haven't been on in about a year. I came on when I first got my little 4 and a half week old Grey. Well somehow I lost my login and haven't been on in a long time but I thought I would reintroduce myself as a lot of things have changed. I have my sweet baby and she will be a year old in just a few weeks, and yes we found out she is a she. She has been such a joy and has recently started talking. I also rescued two other greys in September. We got Kiwi who is another CAG. He is a male and 9 years old. He has fallen in love with my husband and has been doing great here. We also got Cookie who is an older special TAG. She has several issues which I will go ahead and share so I don't forget. She has a deformed foot, missing toenails, is blind on one side, she also suffered a wing injury before she came to live here that left her unable to fly. This injury caused her to pluck which she is currently in recovery and isn't showing signs of plucking. This plucking also cause an issue with scar tissue under he wing which rips when she tries to fly. She has had a tough life and is living it up as a princess now. She has gained 40 grams since coming to live here. Kiwi and Cookie came from the same home and were both on a wild bird seed diet when they came but have both taken to a healthy diet and are excelling here. Pictures to come in the following posts.
