Hey everyone.

I decided to join this website after looking around for a bit and liking the look of this one. I have a female cockatiel and a female budgie, both of whom I adore.

I've always been allergic to most animals, but not birds. At least very minimally. Which is why my pets were birds when I was a child.

Anyway, I have come here as well hoping to perhaps find some solutions to a few problems I've been having.

I hope that I can find some insightful things to learn from and perhaps give something back to this community.

These are my little babies

My cockatiel is seven years old. My cousin owned her parents who had a lot of babies but she and her brother were the only ones that they attacked and tried to kill. Her name is Cubie, originally Cube because we thought she was a male. She is extremely cuddly and loves to be held, scratched and kissed. One of her wings was damaged when she was a little baby(by her father) so she can't fly properly.

My little budgie is three months old and her name is Disa. She is currently very unwell as she has quite a large wound on her stomach. I was away for a week and something, I don't know what, happened while I was away. She is on antibiotics, and a soothing cream that I apply to the wound twice a day. She is a bratty little thing who is 'in love' with Cubie and doesn't want to be in her cage.

I love both of them very much.

Hello! Your birds are cute. I've got a female cockatiel who has a 'cub' foot. Doesn't bother her and she's a sweet little thing. I hope Disa recovers from her injury.
