Once your bird acclimates and feels comfortable, you may be able to employ various techniques to help. Are the affected areas completely missing feathers, or is it an early case of plucking?

Pluckers pluck for a variety of reasons, for most parrots it's a hard habit to break particularly during stressful circumstances. Try not to expect too much too soon, instead focus on making your new addition as comfortable, healthy and happy as possible. Best of luck, please share the progress.
