hello and welcome

ummm... what? Confused as to what Twitter has to do with anything?

you need to get a bigger rectangular cage with different perches of various size. The round cage makes them uneasy and there's not even enough room for her wings to spread out, then the perches in there will make their feet sore. Also that cage looks like it's rusting at the bottom which is toxic to parrots

Hello, and welcome to the Parrot Forums family!

I'm guessing there must have been a typo or something in your initial question? It seems to be asking a question about Twitter length.

LordTriggs is correct about the dimensions and shape of your cage, as well as the perches. You definitely need a bigger cage with preferably some natural, bird-safe perches. And bird toys to keep your lovebird entertained while in his cage.

As for recipes, check out this sub-forum: Parrot Food, Recipes and Diet - Parrot Forum - Parrot Owner's Community It has tons of threads about different recipes for birds.

Greetings, welcome to you and your beautiful lovebird! You'll find many ideas to enrich your bird's life and health in the Cage forum: Cages - Parrot Forum - Parrot Owner's Community

A larger and safer cage need not be very costly for a lovebird. We have many members who can give great advice if you are interested, just post your question in the Lovebird or Cage forum!

Getting your lovebird to be more vocal should be the least of your concerns right now. I see a couple things in the picture you posted that are concerning.

1. The cage you have this bird in is TOO SMALL and does not have edges. Birds don't do well in small, circular cages. Get your lovebird a bigger, rectangular cage where it can open its wings and flap without its wings touching the sides.

2. What are you feeding it? It looks like small amounts of seed in the food bowl. Consider offering your lovebird fresh fruits and veggies and a high-quality pellet.

Pretty bird, though! Welcome.

Hi and welcome. He probably is not that happy how you are keeping him? Would you sing shut in a cupboard?

Please treat this little one like a king and give him all the things he deserves, they are not our slaves. If you can do this then he will be happier and hopefully want to sing.

GREAT ADVICE ABOVE!
Glad you found us.
Gorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgeous bird!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

in Indonesia is like that cage .. birds in the race beautiful voice not the ingenuity of the birds

well it's not good for them to be in those cages. They're chattering there because others are nearby. They're most likely chattering in fear to each other.

She's not here to amuse you with her chirps, birds in the wild are quiet most of the time. A load of chirping is often an alert to say it's dangerous where they are.

Larger cage that isn't rusting, perches from safe wood, toys for her, safe fruits and vegetables in her cage, also I couldn't see but does she have water in her cage? I can't see a water bowl. You need to look after her otherwise you're just torturing a defenseless creature for your amusement which no matter how you cut it is wrong

Yes please do follow the above, there is none that say you have to follow the crowd!

Be different show your bird love and understanding and give him a large cage, the correct food, toys and perches and you will have a friend for his lifetime. Unless you have experienced the love and the bond of a feathered baby you will never understand.

Go on the internet and order something that is fitting and if not sure ask us, be pleased to help! No internet, have one made in a safe metal, stand out from the crowd, please?

Not sure what is happening in the second video? Some sort of contest???

Birds are intelligent creatures deserving of care and respect. At a minimum a large safe cage with good food and fresh water is essential to their well being. I would ask the OP member to please consider a larger and more angular cage fitted with nicer perches. Providing a mixed diet with food appropriate to lovebirds is essential!
