Sadly, for a very long time, near 60 years, breeders have breed for specific colors. Those individuals sold the Parrots into the companion parrot market but not targeting sales of breeding pairs as far too many had physical mutations that where not acceptable. As a result, most color mutations had not been named, classified or listed for Judging. As a result, there are common color groups and as a result some names exist. In some areas the breeders name was used to define groups /colors.

What color group would each be in?
The green one isnt green like I've seen before in lovebirds it's a very yellowish shade and kinda mottled or marbled looking

I'd disagree that most mutations aren't named - usually only the new ones aren't named, especially when it's unsure yet what are the gentics. When it comes to species with many mutations, it may be just hard to recognize because they may be a combination of few mutations.

I'm terrible in recognizing mutations which make the plumage lighter/more yellowish - I don't know if it may be pallid?

(note: the one from the pic is orange head pallid, so it has extra orange face instead of red)

The second one is a kind of aqua, not sure what type of exactly combination

I think you might be right,if pallid gives a yellow hue to the green then yes exactly, depending on the way the light hits him he almost looks yellow,in fact the picture she sent me he looks like a lutino but with dark eyes lol,I was shocked to see a greenish bird when I went to get him.not sure if it makes a difference but both birds have pink feet.(he is the second bird on the rope perch in between the others)
