are you sure she was not regurgitating for you as a sign of affection?

good luck

Can you post a video of the behavior?

Was she almost moving her head forward/backward in a circular motion? If so, she is probably just regurgitating her food for you. This is a sign of love/affection toward you and should be taken as a sign of bondage :)

Welcome to the forums, sorry you had a scare! Very likely it was regurgitating behavior, but as others have suggested, a video would be helpful. Was your bird eating when this happened?

It is not uncommon for Birds to busy themselves eating and than move off to someplace safe to complete the process of chewing their food by regurgitating the food back up from the Crop.

The same activity can be seen when they choose to 'adjust' what is in their Crop for it to continue down the digestive track.
