Help !! My female cockatiel is losing so many feathers!!

She lost these in just one day , idk what’s happening but I’m very concerned about it , It just doesn’t look normal at all but she doesn’t have any bare spots rn idk what to do !!!

Some molts are light.
some molts are heavy..

there have been times it looked like a feather pillow was dumped in the cage.

As my Tiels get older molting takes more energy out of them.

So how to know if it’s not just molt? I mean I also think that she’s having a molt but what if a parrot sheds feathers when there’s no molt how to know that ? How to know if it’s getting serious ?

The other two possibilities I know of is
disease .
plucking.

I think plucking would be noticeable cuz it would normally be localized to a specific location.

disease. IDK but I think you look for mail-formed feathers at the shaft/base of the feathers. You may find photos if you google it.

I guess I am the only one who has problems with auto- correct “fixing” what I type.

my eyesight is not so good up close and my yellow nape gets angry when I wear my glasses. So I am largely guessing that what I type is close to accurate..
add to the fact that my spelling sux and my hands shake so much adds another layer of difficulty in posting q and A on any form.

That’s totally Oky , even I used to have problems with this auto correction until I turned it off lol
