HELP PLEASE I ACCIDENTALLY SHUT MY POOR STORMY'S TOE IN THE FISH TANK LID

He perched on the fish tank lid as I was shutting the lid I should've been more mindful, he won't walk on his foot now, HELP!

I feel so bad, poor baby he has a cut, and his nail is crushed. I can't believe I did this, he much be in so much pain

Is he doing better? A few years ago I accidentally closed a sliding door on my cockatiels toe and he limped on it for a few days but it completely healed after a week or two (this was at a time I couldn’t take them to a vet). I hope your stormy gets better quick!

Thank you!!! He's in bed (he got to choose the sleeping cage he wanted tonight, I have 3, as Stormy and Pepper sleep together), and hopefully recovering. How was your tiel in terms of trust? Stormy doesn't seem scared of me, just a bit wary. I guess it would be expected, as he's injured and feels vunerable.

My boy was a little more cuddly I think slightly traumatized. Then again he didn’t see me or associate me with what happened I think he was just kind of in shock. He didn’t want to put any weight on it that day and it really freaked me out but in the end was completely fine and has had no problems with it after it healed!
