ok so i got a 1 year old IRNi got him (dont know the gender yet) since he was 2 months old. the breeder told me he was handreared, but he was pretty wild to be handreared, so i guess you could call it half handreared...
recently i've been noticing that he is becoming angry more nd more often. almost every few mins he puffs up his head and screams and bites. even when i talk to him. he jus seems lyk a very very very angry bird. if i touch his cage, he bites.. if i touch him, he puffs his head and bites.
i was thinking of training ,... but i dont know what training to do.
im wondering if this is a normal behavior or something to be worried about... thank you
btw his name is Kasper:green2:

Can you tell us more about the interactions you've had in the past? I believe he is too young to be sexually mature, so I don't think you're dealing with hormones.

Has he always been like this, or was he tame with you for a time? If this is a new development, is there some reason for the behavior change? Did he have a scary interaction, or did you change something in the room that could be frightening him?

If you can't think of any reason for the change, then you should really think about taking him to an avian vet. Sudden behavior changes can be a sign of illness.

If he has always been this way (as in, you've never tamed him in the time that he's been with you), then you'll need to start from basically scratch.

Sit near his cage and read a book (or if you're not the book type, play a handheld video game or something). You can read outloud to him, or just talk softly. Try passing him treats through the bars of his cage. Tell him what a good boy he is when he takes them.

Once he's consistently taking the treats through the bars, try opening the door of the cage when you're sitting nearby and see if he'll wander out to the entrance. See if he'll take treats with the door open.

Just move very slowly and take your time.
