Here are my suggestions:

-Snow
-Opal
-Angel
-Baby

What do you think?

I think you should name her Bono...it means "beautiful voice" and she's a U2.

Thanks for including the forum in helping you to name such a darling brird. My suggestions:

Honey
Twinkles
Lady Bird
Karo

These names all are literally sweet!!

They are all such beautiful names.....

My suggestions :

Phoebe
Skye
Candy
Gigi

Good luck

Now we have totally confused you with so many good suggestions. Put them all in a bowl and pick one.

LoL SB you took the words out my mouth :63:

Confusing it sure is.

I suggest take a few days, observe "birdie" and see what name seems appropriate. ;)

Haha thanks so much everyone!! I may indeed do the hat thing as there are a lot of great names there so i don't know how I will pick one :)

All is gong well with 'her.' She has perfected sitting on shoulders, is amazingly gentle, I remember when my Grey was learning to step up and so on our hands were ripped to shreds from him gripping, :) this little girl is so very gentle, she is steppng up already as soon as you put your hand there, and is balancing well on my shoulder. I'm quite amazed at how she is changing every day, I've only had her three days but it feels like she has come so far even then. I think she is just very grateful for attention as she sent her whole life in an incubator alone before I got her (she was raised from an egg.) She was only taken out to feed and that's it. I'm being careful not to spend too much time with her, ie after breakfast she goes back to her cage until lunchtime to snooze and have some alone time, I think the biggest mistake people can make with baby birds si spending every minute with them then wondering why as an adult the bird expects the same and hence the problems start! She has all afternoon and evening with us and seems very happy and content. :)

You have a great deal of parrot insight. Bird sounds wonderful.

Sounds like everyone's adjusting well. Keep us posted!

Laugh if you think I am mad..........
I had a dream about Lady Di last night, can't remember the dream ....... okay laugh
When feeding Mishka her "daily formula" early this morning I was thinking of Lady Di.
I remembered the second picture of your Umbrella Cockatoo, she looks so pure and innocent, as Lady Di was. I think the name Lady Di, would be very fitting. :)

Home sweet home, she is certainly fitting in well and adjusting.
You are doing a splendid job, keep it up.

Antionette - my sister has called me that since, ohhhh, 1980-ish. So I think it's a fabulous name.

I immediately thought of you HRH when I read ant's suggestion :D

How about these names Robin / Patches / Houdini / Pebbles / Apollo / Calypso / Topaz / Luna / Layla

Thanks so much for all the suggestions :) We are still undecided and are watching her personality unfold to see if we get more inspiration! Seeing as she will have the name for 60yrs plus we want to pick the right one! :D

So true, Chickadee was named when we picked her up, although she calls herself "Cocky" but now that I've had her for a few weeks I don't think it suits her personality. One thing I am quite taken with are her wings... they look like angel wings (I'm sure your U2 would be the same). I read Michaelangelo used Cockatoo wings when drawing angels, however I don't know how true this is
