Does anyone feed their parrots "herb salad", the special dried herbs that you can buy from mysafebird.com? And, if this is given daily can you add it to part of the 'veggie' portion of their daily requirements? Just wondering because I find it difficult to give 'fresh' greens and fruits on the 3 days that I work because it will stay in their cages for more than 9 hours. If on those days I only fed herb salad and pellets would that be ok?

It seems to be popular among other bird owners. However after doing some research there seems to be a problem with moths getting into the bag of food. I would say to give the veggies either when you get home for work or give just enough to get them through the day in the morning.

Not really sure if it can be substituted for their main diet but I think some members suggested to keep the bags in a freezer or refrigerator to kill off the bugs
