2 x Green cheek conures
Hi all,

Just became a new member and thought id say hello. I joined this place in the hopes to get even more help as my partner and I recently became first time Green Cheeked Conure parents to 2 conures. We've had them for 3 weeks and love them dearly. Looking forward to any and all help we can get as well as advice where we can 😁 we both really want to do right by our birds because they are 12 weeks old.

Also thank you for reading this post 😁.

Welcome! We would love to see photos of your Conures! Fellow Conure lover here!

Wecome and be welcomed. best advice for new parronts of very young birds:
1. Dont over think things.
2. Patients. lots of it.
3 Let the birds mature at their rate , not the rate of your expectations, every bird is different, an individual
4 More patience.

Hello! New member here also! I am the Conure mum and fiance! Here are our conures! The bright bellied one is called Pumpkin, the darker is called Munchkin! Any helpful tips for us new parents would be much appreciated!

Welcome. Patience can't be stressed enough. Give lots of verbal praise as you pass by. It doesn't matter what you say. That will help all of you get settled. TV, radio, audio books will help with entertainment to, especially if you are doing something else. There's lots of good information here. Again welcome.

You're in good hands here! SO many members here are experienced with parrots, especially conures. I've had my green cheeks Quasar ( aka Mosquito) and Tailgate for about 3-4 months now, and they are a hooot!
